Scam Alert

CashMax has been targeted by unknown scammer groups. These scammers are offering personal loans on behalf of our company over the internet, by email, and making telephone calls. They use the reputation of a legitimate, respected business, along with dire threats, to get what they want from victims. We would like to inform you that these actions are not being made by CashMax. We value our customers and are working directly with authorities to stop these scammers.

Recognize Scam
  • The individual claims that you have been pre-approved for a loan and then requires you to wire money or purchase a prepaid debit/gift card as a “processing fee” or “good faith deposit”. CashMax do not require any good faith deposits.
  • You should always be cautious when volunteering any personal or financial information over the phone or internet. Never provide payment information that you did not initiate. If you are uncomfortable with a phone call that was not initiated by you, hang up or ask for the purpose of the call. Then contact the company using legitimate sources such as contact phone numbers found on the company’s website.
  • The individual threatens violence, intimidation, or uses foul language. The Federal Debt Collection Practices Act specifically prohibits debt collectors from being abusive, unfair, or deceptive in trying to collect debt.
Report Scammers
